LEGO Playwaves is a world-first, Google-assistant voice experience that lets kids turn old LEGO bricks into new sonic adventures. By simply saying “Hey Google, talk to LEGO Playwaves” on any Google-assistant device the app launches, allowing kids to explore five different sonic worlds.

To launch TikTok's 2024 Olympics sponsorship, we created an integrated campaign in partnership with Team GB Olympians Delicious Orie and Katerina Johnson-Thompson, and Paralympians Oliver Lam-Watson and Lauren Steadman, to help everyday people find inspiration to start something new on TikTok.

Over the Halloween weekend, we invited Sydney to come play the most popular and terrifying game in the world. With the help of a 4.5-metre, 3-tonne animatronic replica of Squid Game's iconically eerie doll, we brought 150,000+ fans down to Circular Quay and made hundreds of headlines globally.

To help recruit 14,000 new crew for Macca's restaurants across the nation, we celebrated the unique spirit of mateship that makes Macca's, Macca's. Living across TV, OOH, social, and even a custom mobile game, 'Mates Make It Macca's' highlighted the countless joys and perks of working with your mates, resulting in over 26,000 new hires.

We completely digitised McDonald's Monopoly, seamlessly integrating the much-anticipated phenomenon into the MyMacca's app. Our reimagining of the platform came with a host of new builds, interactive features and minigames, including an augmented reality experience that allowed users to discover redeemable Chance Cards in the real world.

To help millions of sleep-deprived Aussies 'Go to better sleep', we relaunched the Forty Winks brand with a huge integrated campaign. Introducing 'The Unslept', an uncanny horde of seriously tired people, each exhibiting some of the most common sleep issues Australians face.

To help Netflix bring in Season 4 of the global phenomenon Stranger Things, we bent reality to conjure up a massive 20-metre interdimensional portal on Bondi Beach. 'The Upside Down Under' activation garnered worldwide media attention in a PR event not of this world.

Inspired by over 150 'big things' across regional Australia, we built the first permanent landmark for regional Pride. And through Tinder, turned it into a virtual destination that brought isolated LGBTQIA+ Aussies together from every corner of Australia. After a public call to find its forever home, The Big Rainbow now stands tall & proud in Daylesford, Vic.

We created 'The Spectacular Save' to help launch the biggest game in PS5 history. A seven-metre truck was suspended in mid-air by the webs of two Spider-Man characters while NPC police stood guard, turning Sydney CBD into a scene from the game. Content of the stunt quickly went viral, propelling Spider-Man 2 to become the number-one-selling video game in the country.

We helped Amazon Canada transition from wishlists to gift lists by recruiting Canadian pro wrestling legend Bret “The Hitman” Hart and rebranding him as “The Giftman”. Our star-studded Giftmania campaign gave Canadians the chance to win an item from their gift list while driving unprecedented awareness for Amazon’s new feature.

We launched the 'Water Wasn't Made For This' creative platform for Gatorade as a powerful reminder that today's intense workouts may call for more than what water can provide. Beyond film, outdoor and social, our campaign has shown up in ambient placements where exercisers sweat the most.

After 7 years, Great Northern Brewing Co. wanted to take their BCF giveaway promo in a new direction. Akcelo created a bespoke interactive fishing game app where players could reel in 1000's of instant prizes. With over 368,000 entries (+20% year on year) and 9 minutes average dwell time, the 'Great Northern Greatest Catch' is currently the most successful digital promotion in CUB history.
